Stephanie White is a licensed California attorney known for conducting complex investigations involving sexual misconduct and harassment, including Title IX matters, as well as discrimination, bullying, retaliation, and other workplace and educational issues. Clients rely on Stephanie for her thoughtful judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to navigate sensitive matters with professionalism, discretion, and fairness.

Stephanie has conducted investigations for K–12 school districts, institutions of higher education, cities, counties, special districts, public safety agencies, and private employers. Her broad experience across public and private-sector environments gives her a well-rounded understanding of the legal, operational, and human dynamics involved in addressing complaints concerning students, employees, administrators, executives, and public officials. She is particularly recognized for her work in Title IX matters.

Before founding Lincoln White Investigations, LLP, Stephanie was a partner at a California law firm focused on education law, where she chaired the firm’s Community College and Title IX practice areas. In that leadership role, she oversaw highly sensitive investigations, advised clients on compliance and risk management strategies, and helped develop policies and procedures designed to foster safe and equitable learning and workplace environments.

Education & Certifications

Stephanie is a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) and earned her AWI-CH credential through AWI’s Training Institute. She is also certified through the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) as a Civil Rights Investigator and as a Title IX Hearing Officer and Decision-Maker, providing her with extensive experience evaluating evidence and issuing well-reasoned determinations.

She received her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Stephanie is a respected presenter on Title IX compliance and investigative best practices. She has delivered trainings and presentations for numerous organizations, including:

  • Association of Chief Human Resource Officers/Equal Employment Officers (ACHRO/EEO)
  • Sexual Harassment in Education Conference, hosted by the UC Berkeley School of Law
  • Association of California School Administrators (ACSA)
